I agree that pitting the YYY’s and Kings up against each other was crap. I had to make a tough decision. No ACL’er should be forced to give up one amazing act in order to see another. That was mean!

I’ve seen the beasties about 5 times back when I used to listen to them a lot, but have never had the chance to see the yeah yeah yeahs, whom I listen to a lot more often these days than the beastie boys. I love Karen O and know that this will be a hell of a show. YYY are someone that I’ve been hoping to see at ACL! I am pleased and can’t wait. Well wishes to Adam Yauch.

C3 Congrats on saving a bunch of money and pissing of alot of people. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same sentence as the Beastie boys and for you to give them this type of top billing over way worthier bands. You have totally lost my respect total

This must be a F***ing joke! I am so pissed off that this is the lame replacement for one of the most popular bands for the last 20 years. I guess the promoters saw a chance to make more money$ Gotta pay for that lawn at Zilker park somehow!
