The Durdens -- Judy, Larry, Christy, Debra, Sharon, Antuon, Antony and Albert III -- are a family gospel group from Austin that has been performing together for nearly 30 years. Voted Gospel Recording Artist of the Year by the Texas Gospel Announcers Guild, The Durdens have toured across the country, spreading the Good Word through their inspiring live performances and unique hybrid of traditional and contemporary gospel styles with just enough hints of pop and rock to move the body as much as the spirit. The group has released three albums to date: The Durden Singers, God Sent Me an Angel, and their most recent, New Day.
