really digging this band…..can’t get into Wilco because they just aren’t good like these guys. Blitzen Trapper has the talent that Tweedy never had but always promised. Man it’s original, tight, and meaningful. It’s closer to the talent level of Simon & Garfunkel with touches of the Dead….. than it is….Wilco.

I saw Blitzen Trapper in Asheville in Nov 08 with Iron & Wine and they totally stole the show. I’m totally excited to see them live again. http://audiomuffin.com/blitzen-trapper/

i would have died if fleet foxes played again this year…. they were amazing last year.

Fleet Foxes are amazing, yes, but they played ACL last year. There usually aren’t many repeats year to year, with the exception of Galactic and Patty Griffin who have played almost every other year, but oddly aren’t on the bill this year. Alot has changed, but the fest is awesome every year with a slightly different flare (and bigger crowds!)

such a good band too bad ACL couldn’t get their fellow label mates Fleet Foxes.
